Activities in Torres del Paine

*Please note that the excursions of the All-Inclusive Shared Program at Patagonia Camp are organized on the day of your arrival in conjunction with the other guests and with the team of expert guides. The adventure’s menu is extensive, here you find just a few ideas:

Base of the Towers

This is one of the most iconic routes in Torres del Paine National Park forming an essential segment of the “W” circuit, and it deserves all its famed reputation for the level of difficulty as well as for the unforgettable view that it offers - if the weather permits. You will climb through the forests of Lenga beech and Andean shrub-land before tackling the glacial moraine composed of blocks of granite that have been exposed to the harshness of the Patagonian climate. Upon reaching the Towers Lookout, find yourself in one of the most famous postcards from this part of the world, in an amphitheater of rocky peaks and glaciers.

The French Valley

The French Valley is one of the three principal attractions of the “W" circuit and it is one of the most striking trails in the National Park. The experience begins at the Pudeto Dock to take the catamaran that crosses the icy cold turquoise waters of Lake Pehoe to the slopes of Cerro Paine Grande. Here starts a marvelous hike full of scenic contrasts on the way to the Italian Camp; continue on upwards over an ancient glacial moraine and going through a wooded valley to reach the French Lookout. Discover the sensation of being in this amazing amphitheater in Torres del Paine surrounded by glaciers and impressive walls of granite.

Grey Trek

The trail to the Grey Lookout is on the western side of the “W" circuit, and it follows the slopes of Mount Paine Grande after crossing Lake Pehoe from the Pudeto Sector on a boat trip of around 30 minutes. The path crosses gently undulating ravines, which will put the adventurer to the test physically until reaching the Grey Glacier Lookout with an incredible panoramic view of Lake Grey and its imposing glacier seen in the distance. From here, it is possible to see the icebergs floating on the lake and to feel the characteristic cold Patagonian winds.

Kayak Puntilla

This kayak trip is one of the exclusive treasures offered by Patagonia Camp. The expert team of guides will provide an informative talk on the technical basics of paddling and safety instructions. After getting fully kitted out with all the necessary equipment, start the activity at the banks of Lake Toro, the largest lake in the region with pure waters of tones that vary from deep blues to intense turquoises. You will enjoy a relaxing kayak trip around the well-protected bays and islands accompanied by extraordinary views of the Patagonian landscape. This activity is truly not to be missed!

WEATHER IN ARGENTINA & PATAGONIA

Argentina is located in the Southern Hemisphere, with winter lasting from June to September and summer from December to March.
