WEATHER IN ARGENTINA & PATAGONIA
Argentina is located in the Southern Hemisphere, with winter lasting from June to September and summer from December to March. Given the immense size of the country, the weather varies hugely from one region to another: subtropical climate in the north, temperate and humid climate in the center, and cold and windy climate in the south (Patagonia).

North Argentina
Iguazú Falls: this region is hot and humid year-round, with regular rainfall. The average annual temperature is around 75º F.
Salta: this region has dry winters and warm-hot summers. The average annual temperature is around 67º F.

Central Argentina
Buenos Aires: characterized by a moderate climate with hot-humid summers and cool-dry winters.
Mendoza: this region is dry year-round, moderately warm during summers and cold in winters, with minimal rain.

South Argentina
Patagonia: famous for its temperament: summer and winter can be experienced sometimes in one day, with not only extremes in temperatures – ranging from 34°F (1°C) to 66°F (19°C) – but also in day-to-day sunshine, wind, rain, and occasionally even snow, sometimes even in the same afternoon.
